Our experience with Chef Alan was fantastic from start to finish. You might think it would be weird having someone cook for you in your house, but Alan's friendly and personable demeanor made the experience really enjoyable. Alan produced for us a 7 course taster menu, in which every mouthful was absolutely delicious and I could not find any fault with it. Alan came prepared with his own crockery and cutlery which really added to the experience and definitely added a feeling of being in a restaurant. There was not a thing I would have changed. I would definitely recommend Alan (and have already done so) to anyone thinking about having a private chef.'
