A lover of all things food reinforced with a wealth of experience, knowledge and skill
I I have been in love with food all my life, particularly fresh fish and seafood . My earliest memory as a young commis chef was trying wild seabass for the very first time and not the farmed variety most restaurants serve today. My mentor and old head chef cooked for me and now at the grand old age of fifty eight I look back and realise it has always been this way. The taste of the dish that had a simple butter sauce with it remains etched into my psyche We all need to eat, and we all need to be loved. I have never taken that relationship for granted, and you shouldn’t either. For me the best meals have depended on who I was eating with. Food, love and life for me are entwined. After spending my younger years in the industry I moved into education and have recently stopped teaching for a living and I am now looking for a new direction.
