Italian, very creative, passionate about food and wine.
Marcello is an Italian chef from the North of Italy and has roots in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, and Tuscany. His inspiration for the main ingredients of his dishes stems from his grandmothers and their passion for food!
His knowledge comes from them as well as from working and managing a fine dining restaurant for over 20 years. He had the chance to learn skills and techniques from fine dining and Michelin Star chefs. Marcello would define his dishes as mainly traditional Italian but with a modern twist, he never compromises on the taste but the dishes must please the eye too. Another must is the ingredients, you can not create a great dish if you start with poor quality ingredients. He is not afraid to experiment since great ideas often come from big mistakes.
Marcello is also a sommelier and he's importing wine from small wineries in Italy, France, and Austria.
