Professional chef that's super passionate about local and seasonal produce
I have been a chef now for 10 years and have worked in a variety of industries, from industrial style catering to super busy pubs and more recently I have been the head chef of a boutique hotel. I have catered for large parties either plated or buffet all the way to cooking small, intimate tasting menus.
In addition to this I have been privately cooking for people and hosting pop up kitchens, this really suits my style as I am a really calm and easy going chef. I love meeting new people and talking all things foodie with them!
Throughout my career I have been lucky enough to cook for the editor of Devon Life Magazine and received a two page spread about my food and hosting. I also cooked a five course tasting menu for the Devon Foodie (now called The Maverick Guide) where they gave me a full write up and excellent review on their website. In addition I have had a recipe published in Food Lover magazine. More recently I have just finished my level 1 cheese course which now make me an associate of the academy of cheese, so if your looking for a cheeseboard full of knowledge I am you guy!
Lastly I moved to Devon a few years ago and its the best thing I have ever done in regards to following my passion and dream. The produce here is second to none and every corner I turn I seem to find another wonderful and unique supplier. My passion. I am a massive foodie, and love everything to do with food. I love discoving new ingredients and dishes and trying them out.

A variety of establishments, through qaulifications of a professional level and from my mother who is also a chef!
A role model in the kitchen is...
So many to choose from but I'm a great fan of Floyd, Roux brothers, Marco, Rick Stein and Ramsey. Also my mum is a big role model in the cooking world
A cooking secret...
I'm all about the ingredients. Keeping things simple but full of flavour and recognition of the produce. I am a calm and collected chef.
