Hello. I am James Lowe. A chef of 32 plus years working in kitchens in restaurants, hotel, corporate B&I, Industrial contract and Private educational contracts.

I love food. Simple well cooked food. Thought out, seasonal and sympathetically cooked. Why do we have to mess around with food so much!

I try and live my life in a way that has a little impact on our planet as possible. I keep bees, grow my own vegetables in my garden and allotment. I love life. I look forward to meeting with you and planning your special event.

For me, cooking is my life. Be it amazing bread, to a delicate chocolate decoration, it is my life. I love food and love discovering new foods.

A role model in the kitchen is...

My grandfather was a fabulous cook, never wasting any raw or cooked ingredients. He taught me how to respect the seasons.
